We only send minimal, anonymised data, we use EU/UK data residency, and every supporter opts in to WhatsApp before we send anything. We also have a DPIA that covers exactly how the data flows. So the system is fully GDPR-compliant and trustee-safe.
To prevent our messaging being felt as intrusive, we may want our initial message to be gentle, introductory, and give an indication of the purpose such as to keep donors up to date.
Users are able to mute or archive messages which are becoming a normal standard for WhatsApp, so the culture has shifted and donors receiving such messages won't feel intruded upon.

- Business registration or licence document
- Government-issued business tax document: This could include a tax certificate. Self-filed tax documents are not accepted.
- Business bank statement
- Utility bill: A utility bill is only accepted for Business address and Phone number. The legal business name must be on the utility bill. A utility bill is not an acceptable document for legal business name verification.
